LocalScorer is designed to support privacy-conscious operation and India DPDP readiness. This page explains what data the app processes and how you can access, correct, or delete it.
What you can request
- • A copy of the personal data linked to your account.
- • Correction of inaccurate account details.
- • Deletion of your account data and match records we hold.
- • Withdrawal of consent for processing that relies on it.
How to make a request
Email us from the address linked to your account so we can verify ownership. Tell us clearly whether you want access, correction, or deletion.

Clear local data on this device
LocalScorer stores match drafts and settings in your browser to keep scoring working smoothly during events. This local data stays on your device until you clear it.
You can remove it anytime from this device by clearing the saved matches in your dashboard, or by clearing this site's data in your browser settings. Clearing local data does not delete account records held on the server.
Public overlay links
Public scoreboard and ticker overlay links are read-only and are meant for OBS or stream display. When you share one, it may show match details such as team and player names. Share overlay links only with people who should see the match, and keep your private controller link to yourself.
Players and minors
Local tournaments may involve players who are minors. Please enter only the information needed for scoring, such as a name, and obtain appropriate consent before adding a minor's details. As the scorer or organiser, you are responsible for the personal data you enter about players.
